Hi Marcos ! Yes, it's hard to apply normal usage of the phrase here, that's why I hoped EC could tell us whether it's a phrase that has special meaning in mining.. On Stockhouse they are speculating that it implies an elephant. I doubt it, but you never know !

Yes I watch KGI, and several other plays in the old Canadian mining camps. So many mines stopped producing in the late sixties because of the fixed price of gold ($35) coupled with inflation of costs.

But LSG turns me on most ! There is a schematic at the end of the last news report (at lsgold.com) that illustrates the deposit well. I believe (i.e. have faith!) that it suggests 2,000 ounces per vertical meter and open at depth ! Maybe you could persuade EC to comment !

Incidentally, on IMN's Sedar this morning there is a technical report on Inmet's new Spanish copper-leach operation. It will produce >60,000 tpa of copper cathode @ a cost of only .33 Euro's per lb. With the recent fall in Euro the current price of copper is ~ 1.30 Euro's per lb ! Sounds pretty good eh ?
