Terrorism does exist in SA. They are only bent on killing the people that get in the way of their drug traffic. In a similar way, I think AQ is brilliantly killing as many people as they can while making sure that the killing does not get in the way of the oil exports. Any time an economic cartel exists, they will kill to protect their commodity whether it be drugs or oil. Done with this conversation. The return on equity is very high for the oil that is being pulled out of the ground from current reserves. It may be more costly to find new reserves - so be it. The ME is still making more money at$55 a barrel than they did at $25 a year or two ago. Move on to the next conversation. Why do you blame Bush for not being able to find OBL? He is being protected by the people of Afghanistan, Pakistan or Whateverstan. I think the people should help turn OBL over. However, he sparked one of the largest rallies in crude oil in the past 50 years. Yes, there is also the truth behind higher global demand for oil with limited supply. On some level, the political instability has kept prices going higher than previously though. However, it is not a quantifiable factor. Done with this conversation. I couldn't care if GM is puking out it's suv's. The only thing I know is that once I traded in a sports car for a suv, there was no going back. Kids make the space a necessary evil. I hope they start making fuel efficient suv's. That is up to the auto makers to invent. Fuck them for leaving us with so little new technology. Done with this stupid conversation too.
