perceived to be inconvenient I don't think the word inconvenient adequately explains the detrimental effect of an unwanted offspring. Inconvienent is a flat tire, an abortion would not be considered if the time and cost and trauma were not weighed by the mother to be less harmful to her individual situation. Abortion on demand has no restraints placed upon it except that it is demanded But that is a good thing, because then nobody has to lie about their motives. The mother needs to make the choice whether to have children based on her situation, and not on some artificial constraints. TP
