With all the tools for audio conferencing and white boards and the collaborative aspects of intranets, gorupware and internets, what is gained incrementally from "seeing" who is talking? The "video" addition to the capability is the portion requiring the expensive equipment, software and bandwidth while providing the lowest quality transmission. Just another perspective from one wondering why with all the companies having installed videoconferencing [most in pilot or executive projects] that further implementation isn't occuring? Comments? I own VSVR, so my question is one of many I ask myself to better understand the evolution of this segment.
