The philosophical split re: bonds on this thread is as wide as the Grand Canyon.

Mish, Trotsky and now much of the establishment remain wildly bullish allegedly because the bond market is discounting the deflation or near deflation they think is around the corner.

But others like Doug Noland at Pru Bear argue that bonds are the biggest bubble of all and reflect a manic out of control credit system.

I am in the Doug Noland camp.
