You don't seem to be very clear on the concept of impeachment.

Okie-dokie, let me try this just once.

Impeachment is a sort of criminal prosecution only it's done by Congress. It starts in the House of Representatives, which "brings" (presents) "Articles of Impeachment" (sort of like an indictment) to the full House, for a trial, and then a vote.

No Articles of Impeachment were ever presented to Congress. There were Articles of Impeachment in the Judiciary Committee, but they were never presented to the House of Representatives. Nixon resigned before it got that far.
