I'm not suggesting anything. I have no idea what Richard Nixon intended to imply or admit by resigning the Presidency.

I'm stating fact (as was Cobalt)

Nixon was not impeached.

He resigned because he faced certain impeachment, conviction and removal from office.

Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon for crimes committed in office. It was a preemptive pardon and avoided putting the country through a criminal investigation of the former president.

You don't seem to have an understanding of the history of what took place. Take some time and educate yourself if you want to try to carry on a discussion of events that took place over 30 years ago.
