There's a big reaction to the employment number, which has been all over the map. I don't know if the number has been cooked, or the birth/death model is overshooting.

In about 1-2 weeks, we should be able to get some actual payroll data, either from the IRS, or from PayChex, ADP, Manpower, etc.
