I think calling Guantanamo a gulag got everyone's attention. And private citizens are allowed to contribute to political campaigns, even if they work for human rights organizations.

I wonder how many big companies that now have extremely lucrative contracts in Afghanistan and Iraq contributed to Bush's campaign? And what about the whole issue of Halliburton, making billions of dollars because we went to war unjustifiably?

And don't forget how often Bush quoted Amnesty International reports when they were convenient to him in talking about Saddam Hussein's war crimes.
