I truly hope that some of these projects are going on in Sunni-majority areas of the country, with active participation and support of the Sunnis themselves.

Widespread publicity of that sort, both in Iraq and at home (fat chance here!) would do a world of good towards political integration of the country and support for the writing of their constitution.
