Ted, That's where you and I disagree. I don't believe all people are cut out of the same cardboard and have the same agenda. The "new set of idiots" I'm talking about are the ones you are voting for, and the "new set of obstructionists" are the ones I'm voting for, so the political deadlock will continue. Why? Because frankly that's what everyone is used to, and we'll continue down that same path until the next crisis hits. Will it be Social Security? Health Care? A nuke going off in L.A.? Frankly, I think the crisis is the paranoia in the heads of some of the GOP. More than one person who knew him has said that Nixon was extremely paranoid. I think he typlifies the genre.
