always have been registered as an independent. If it seems like I am a democrat, I am not surprised

The affiliation is not as important as the attitude. Most union members are registered as Democrats, many if not the majority of union members have voted Republican in the last twenty years because the Democrat party has come to represent the super wealthy, and not the middle class. You reflexively support Democrats and attack Republicans.

Since the Democrat party is the party of corruption, and yet you post as if it were the other way around, one must assume that you are incapable of examining things objectively. Yes, the FMSM has been attacking the Republican Party in the last several years to try to get well earned the Democrat reputation for corruption to stick to the Republican Party and its leaders. It is discounted by moderates and thinking people because of the obvious partisanship of the FMSM.

You have said many times that you believe that where there is smoke there must be fire. The DemopLib FMSM knows there are people whom regard investigative rigor with the same zeal as rigor mortis. They have used the people who are partisan for the benefit of the DemoLib cause.

At was your age, I was much more liberal. I have learned to question not just authority, but those who want me to follow their path of questioning authority.

For your journey through life, you need more than a nice set of shades. Some times they prevent you from seeing things clearly. Remove them often to see things unfiltered. (FYI That is a profound observation.)
