Tamiflu is the only approved antiviral available in quantity, but has not been proven under pandemic conditions. One course is 10 pills (2 for 5 days to treat or 1 for 10 days to prevent). It expires in a year and multiple course would be required for each family member under pandemic conditions.

Biohazard suits would get real old real fast. When to put one on and off would be hard and pandemic alerts could extend for months or years.
