Any serious projections about the chance of the birdflu coming to The United States...?

IMO, our Administration is bogged down in Iraq and busy playing war games with terrorists around the world...We can't be ready IF we ever had some type of serious pandemic arrive on our shores...Then again, we can't even expect the truth from the Bush / Cheney regime.
