I quite ageee. I was able to get a job at age 45, but that was touch and go. At 50 yrs old the current view is you not worth employing. Meanwhile... news.independent.co.uk news.scotsman.com I have some UK employment figures somewhere. There are about 3 million unemployed males in the UK about my age. A lot of them are filed as long term sick.
