Fre market doesn't mean anarchy. It means a relative lack of interference by the government in the process of buying and selling. Most supporters of the idea of a very free market also support the idea of having the government protect property rights. They support the government generally keeping order. They aren't supporting anarchy. But they don't support regulating and taxing everything at every stage of prooduction, transport and sale of goods and services. They don't support trade barriers or many forms of restrictive liscensing or government controls on prices.
