I see no problem with the "declare victory and leave in 12-24 months" idea. Our business in Iraq appears to be done, as far as I can tell.

Let the Iraqis take up their own destiny again, by themselves, with full support of the wonderful "international community". Why hasn't the UN done anything to help Iraq in the past 1-2 years (you know, after the fall of the former regime)? Don't they "care" about the poor Iraqi people?
