Well, as I once put it, we'd better talk of UNE, instead of EU:

As someone outside, I believe this is only a temporary setback for the EU. Time will tell but it has had these kind of problems in the past and managed to overcome them. As it gets closer to being one country, the problems just keep getting bigger and bigger. We will see how this one plays out.
