This report says the Jews were brought to Dachau to be executed and that they were gassed in the gas chamber disguised as a shower room and also in the four smaller gas chambers. According Dachau Museum Director Barbara Distel, the gas chamber at Dachau, which was disguised as a shower room, was never used for any purpose. The Dachau Memorial Site also says that the four smaller gas chambers were disinfection chambers used to kill lice in the camp clothing.

Some important facts you chose to ignore:
**Thirty thousand people [primarily Catholics] died at Dachau......six million Jews were killed in the other camps.
**Dachau was not a death camp so much as a prison for dissidents.
**They never activated the gas/death chamber at Dachau and used it to kill hundreds of thousands of people like they did at the other camps.
**Some people eventually were freed from Dachau.......that never happened to the Jews in the other camps.
**While horrific, Dachau can not compare to what happened to the Jews at the other camps.
**And yet its true.......the level of grief from the Dachau atrocities does not compare to the reaction to the Jewish Holocaust. Some of us can understand why.
