You must have forgotten that Palestinians were dancing and celebrating in the streets when 9/11 happened. The Palestinians virtually singlehandedly made suicide bombing what it is today. To deny this is simply to become and apologist.

I'm very aware of the shortcomings of the Israelis. I'm also very aware of the Bush administration being unwilling to use our aid to Israel as a diplomatic tool to get the Israelis to eliminate all the settlements. If I were President, I'd visit Sharon and tell him not one more penny of aid or loans until he gets rid of every settlement. Then we'd see how quickly the situation over there resolves itself.

However, I simply refuse to sit back and say the Palestinians are the victims here. They are not. They have committed atrocious acts, allowed themselves to be governed by a petulant ignoramous, and have gloried in Intifadas instead of renegotiating the best deal they were ever likely to get from Clinton.

If being evenhanded counts as being a dissembler and propagandist in your book, then I think you have allowed yourself to become too biased in one direction. You should do more reading on both sides to ensure you present an unbiased picture, and then base your opinions on that.
