re: JF, my point is that it's all about ideology. It'd be great if we all put aside our militant devotion to our respective ideologies and started working together towards peace, wouldn't it? Too bad it only takes one side to shatter that trust, especially when that side considers their ideals more important than peace itself. I (almost) couldn't agree more. The thing is, at least from my perspective (my personal ideology if you like) war is the ultimate human sin against God or mankind, or whatever. In the past it's been the Republicans and more often it's been the Democrats, and it's been the Christians and it's been the Muslims. I guess things are just more "relative" to you than they are to me. John PS re: Then, ironically, the side that hates war and loves peace is forced to decide whether to resort to war in order to fight for peace. You know Iraq wasn't "war for peace". It was war for power and economic domain, clearly. What side are you on?
