But there is politics involved, and money. Geopolitics ; The Great Game. War and Money. US in ME vs China buying SAm and Canada. What did Dems do? Carter started talking in the 70's. Carter started tax credits. Carter started to solarize the WH; just a gesture, but of major import as a symbol in those days. Probably some foolish stuff like syn fuels, too. Ray Gun let all the credits expire, took out the solar set-up, put no money into alt en. It hasn't gotten any better. Don't think this was real high on Clinton's list, either. Now, I think the federal tax credit for business will expire at the end of the year. There is no fed help for homeowners, tho. In the meantime, you can write off the cost of a humvee if you have a business. There really isn't much way of avoiding politics. Not to mention that many scenarios have some kind of martial law aspect to them. Just what we need to kill the Republic forever.
