Don't get me wrong, I know Wolfowitz has left, but he is the architect of this whole Iraqi thing. I don't know all that much about Wolfowitz, but from what I have seen of him, I think he is an okay person. I think his intentions are(were)noble.

But, I think his Iraqi strategy was too grandiose. It is very difficult to implement even small changes, but to change the course of Iraqi and ME history is (was) too grandiose. I think Wolfowitz was an idealist. The people he left behind though are for the most part not idealists but bureaucrats with a poorly thought out agenda - and they are running the military.
