Technology Stocks : Novell (NOVL) dirt cheap, good buy?

Well Don....it depends how you look at it. The fundamentals on SJD are there as is the fact that the stock is now trading at or above the 50 day moving average.....not seen since May, 1997.

It is no doubt a speculative stock but given that the company is about to release further results from its Ghana mine (within 4 - 6 weeks), I see the stock rallying past $4 anyday now and possibly $5 before the news. That is when I am selling.

SJD may provide more excitement than NOVL if you can stomach the ride.
Based on fundamental and technical data, the investment could turn out to be profitable.

I do not expect the stock to drop below $3.

P.S The mutual fund mentioned in the article have been buying around $2.75 and all star analyst Bob Bishop is standing behind his recommendation.
