Convenience is not the issue. The issue is that abortion kills an innocent Human Person, and no body has the "right" to do that.

"While the fetus is still attached to the mother, all the rights stem from the mother."

That is not true scientifically or ethically. It's an arbitrary fabrication used to justify the killing of those who are too small to defend themselves.
