"Crusading" in Iraq ? Poland has 1700 soliders there... not enough for a colony.... I still don't see why they should pay any kind of price for someone else's colonialism....were there Latvian "concessions" in China ? Hungarian sugar plantations with slaves in South America ? Did the Poles kill off Native Americans by feeding them spoiled sausages ?

Also looks like Poland, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, and Hungary may be less likely to join the Euro bloc - after all, some of those countries already have enough unemployment.

So there will be a US Dollar oriented group running down the middle of Europe - the dividing line between Old and New...which ever they are.

May China and Japan will start buying government bonds of the Poles so they can have a housing bubble ;-)

As Jacque Chirac said about the new entrants to Europe, "they missed a good opportunity to keep quiet...."
