You've written that the Dow at 8000 is the steal of the century, but still, these things match up fairly well. If there is no currency bashing, big negative trade surprises, and program trading (as there was last time) then I guess we have nothing to worry about, but then again, such things as this might become self-fulfilling prophesies, if everyone sells "just to be safe." I'd appreciate your take on this:
