Secular deists. How's that? An astounding line-up of the founding fathers disavowed the organized church altogether. I'm not making this up nor cheering it, I simply point it out because the religious right is trying to twist the truth around 180 degrees by claiming this country was founded "under God" (aka Jesus, aka their church). While a general bow to God was accorded, the FF's specifically distrusted organized churches or any groups trying to dictate morality. BTW: So did Barry Goldwater, the founding father of modern conservatism.
