Less profound than that, I'm afraid. I have an ideological conviction about people being allowed to do pretty much what they like if it doesn't hurt others - maybe I am a libertarian of sorts in that respect. Hence my view that soft drugs and prostitution should be decriminalized and accepted as the de facto part of US life that they have been for many decades. Whether Washington says OK or the states is fine with me. I am more interested in the end result (even though I have no particular personal interest in those vices, LOL).
