The media is a left wing institution, almost by definition. The media laughably made Saddam out to be just another head of state. The media never reported on the daily missiles shot at our planes in the no-fly zone, nor reported the fact that Saddam consistently violated the ceasefire treaty from the Gulf War. By doing so, they fueled the antiwar movement, which was front and center every day leading up to the war, as well as the international disapproval. Don't assume one or two instances of basic journalistic incompetence means the media have had a change of political affiliation.
