Thanks Ish, I too think it is a good plan.

The last time I was that close to a strawberry patch was when I was 16 and went up to Iowa to visit my sister's in laws. Her FIL raised corn and wheat and had a few cows to provide meat for the family. Her MIL had a strawberry patch right outside her kitchen door and they were bigger than any I had ever seen. She cooked on an old wooden stove and made shortcake that was delicious. Needless to say we ate very well with all kinds of steak each night.

That year it had snowed well into May and we were told you could not see the telephone poles as the snow covered them. They had been snowed in for a couple weeks but it was all gone when we arrived in mid-June. They were still wearing fleece lined jackets in the day time and I was running around with just a tee shirt and jeans. The Mr. kept telling me that I was going to freeze and put on a jacket, but did not feel that cold to me. First time I ever came home eight pounds heavier too.
