C2, with persistent low interest rates it seems that people are, overall, saving money like crazy [despite the spendthrifts around the world] and looking for investments and their money is sloshing around competing for returns, which are ever-lower.

They trust the central bankers' fiat currencies. Which is crazy because I plan to turn them into worthless anachronisms of a bygone era. That process will be largely complete within 20 years and possibly well underway within 10 years. With interest rates at something like 5%, people aren't going to even get their money back, let alone a return on their investments.

They should buy assets! Hmmm, how come I'm holding US$ then? I suppose I'd better do as I say.
