Housing will be affordable again but I can promise you that most won't want it when it is. Prices change, but human nature remains fairly predictable

Isn't is funny how for most of the 1990's no one cared about real estate except the few remaining investors like us. I can't remember one person ever expecting anything more than very modest appreciation on any property. Some of us bought cheap and flipped with competition almost non existent and limited capital available. Others held for the long term with positive cash flow while paying down the principal balance being your perceived ticket to financial freedom way down the road once the mortgage was paid off. Boy how times have changed <g>
