I did not realize she had been performing in San Francisco the night that Supervisor Milk and Mayor Moscone were murdered. - Holly

I worked at the airport then. Came home to SF to find a huge candle light procession headed down Market St. to City Hall Plaza.

That night, I went down with my ex, who also had moved to SF from Vermond, and we spend the evening listing to Baez and others.

All in all, it was quite a moving experience.
