re: DNO.OL NOK 82 - Det Norske Oljeselskap

Just talked to CEO Helge Eide

first of all the company recently purchased additional own shares under forward contracts recently. And the company will distribute it as a 5% stock dividend to ordinary shareholders - at least that's contemplated as a resolution submitted to the AGM ! For each 20 shares you own you will get another 1 for free. Because these shares are in the treasury, they won't cause any dilution. And it's tax efficient also, at least in my location..

The 1:4 split was conducted due to liquidity issues. DNO now just makes the grade for inclusion in the Oslo top section I hear. Well if more shares are trading, maybe we get included in some indices as well. This could force Index funds to buy DNO as well.. That sounds good..
