JF, good article, however, I disagree with the part about how easy it will be for the South if North Korea collapses. Neither the $1.7 trillion figure that the ostriches in Seoul cite nor the $1 billion figure that Jasper Becker cites are reasonable. My WAG is about $20 billion a year, even after all of the international help such as UNICEF and the World Bank. It will pay off in the long run, to be sure, but it's going to be a rough transition.
