Kerry is an expert pilot. His father told him to go Navy instead of Air Force because flying jets in combat would kill his love for flying. Kerry would have been a great combat pilot. Bush on the other hand was grounded by the Air Guard after a few years of rudimentary training. He then dodged a drug test, went AWOL and never flew again. He also lied about it, but rightwing hawks give him a pass and attack war hero Kerry. Five years later, an eyewitness describes Bush trying to fly a Cessna. He didn't know how. So much for the $1,000,000+ we spent on training GW Bush just so he could stay out of harm's way. Kerry went far beyond the call of duty. Bush avoided duty.
