"why are u so sure that Win Server 2003 will replace Citrix?"

I did not say replace, I said reduce the need for. The list of Citrix partners is thinning out. They keep buying companies to get the next big thing. The latest announcement that they are buying NetScaler is a divergence into hardware. It is the first I am aware of. Why would they buy a hardware company if the need for their software was infinite?

Why did the stock start tanking after announcing the NetScaler deal? What is Citrix's track record of success with purchased products?

There is a huge factor to be considered on the positive side. Citrix is a known entity. They have done an excellent job of keeping customers in the Subscription Advantage program. Fortune 500 IT security departments are slow moving and have approved Citrix. There is still buying caused by that cycle.

They have a good story that opens doors. They have an effective sales calling program.

I am not negative on Citrix, but it is a complex company to invest in. This week's decline may be an indicator or a buying opportunity. I am not intending to invest more funds in his sector at this time. If CTXS drops another 5 points, I would probably invest anyway.
