That said, diabetes can be a tricky and insidious disease. I can cite you many cases of nonhealing wounds and raging infections in diabetics for which there is no hard and fast treatment, and all the expensive drugs from all the king's horses and all the king's men won't do squat to help the patient recover. THis is an excuse for using the cheapest, oldest, generic antbiotics and not even trying the newer ones that the bugs haven't had time to develop resistance to when a life is at stake?
