Re: As ludicrous as it may sound to most Americans, the tale has resonance in Germany, where fantastic conspiracy theories often are taken as fact.
Many Germans think, for example, that the 1969 moon landing was faked, and a poll published in the weekly
Die Zeit showed that 31 percent of Germans younger than 30 "think that there is a certain possibility that the U.S. government ordered the attacks of 9/11."

LOL... The American crackpot calling the German kettle crazy! Do crazy Yanks realize that nobody in the world bought their official crap about the ins and outs of 911?

First, it was the Arabs... Well, that was an easy deal: OF COURSE, Arabs and Muslims would be eager to spin the most ludicrous theories about 911! They did it out of HATE against the brave yanks and their Jewish mates. Next, it was the French (remember Thierry Meyssan *). Again, of course the French couldn't refrain themselves from smearing the US --it's JEALOUSY! Today, it's the Germans, the square, hard-working, no-nonsense Germans?!? ROFL.... Whatever next!
