Yes, I agree. IMO that is our only significant problem.

The rest is internal Iraqi politics that only they can resolve. Nor do we have to fix Iraqi racial problems or local security problems.

I expect us to continue to hammer the foreign terrorists at every opportunity until 3 things happen.

The Iraqi Constitution is written and ratified.

The elections based on the new constitution are held.

Some of the key trials have been held.

After that, unless something new breaks out, we can leave and consider our effort a success.

We cannot guarantee Iraq's freedom forever, but we must provide them with a reasonable opportunity for success.
