It is clear that the war is not going well in the eyes of a majority of americans as reflected in most recent polls. Folks here often preach to the choir. Even gadflys like me understand this nation is at risk and hope that our efforts will be 100% successful. But I want us all to be real as well and at least challenge whats left of our brains to look at other possiblities if:
1. we fail
2. public opinion forces us to change policy,

WE should have fallback positions that serve us better than what howie dean might urge. This is not like FADG where some of this nations now hang out. I am not Stockboy scott and am not rooting for failure, just trying to get us to look at the whole picture which i am sure you will admit is not a pretty one.
