Ted, It was the Pentagon that did not think that possible. In fact, Hollywood and the rest of the world had been considering the possibility of such a concept for years.

Ever see the movie "Sum of all Fears"? Seems like Hollywood has already considered the possibility of a nuke going off on American soil.
