Paulo,

The first reason the bonds are moving lower is the weakness in the Dollar. Everything else is conjecture to support one's market position. The best reason to short the bonds is because the bonds are trending lower. Anyone who bought bonds in the past five weeks is now sitting with a losing position. I've been short the bonds since the first week in August. I will post here that I will remain short unless cash drops below 6.50% on a closing basis.

I could argue both a bullish or bearish position. The best thing to do is follow the trend, and that is clearly for lower bond prices for the time being. The trend could change tomorrow or next week, or this could be the next major move in bonds, I don't know. An argument could be right or wrong, but the market is always right.

My best regards.
