I'm at about 150 feet above mean sea level. Touch and go weather the the house gets knocked off it's foundations.

On a nearby island this "run-up" was more than 31m.

The guys down the the road who have given me gip about my patio causing floods in there back garden will definetly be wiped out before me though. I keep telling them they cant let their Cypress Leylandii grow up to spoil my beautiful view of the Clyde. There will be a few milliseconds of pure joy as they and their trees get swept away.

(Just joking. Gladfully, my disputes with my niebours are all under control. The Cypress Leylandii were getting sliced up by me any time the wind blew there tops in my properties direction, so they called a truce. Although I don't have to fix thier flooding problems, I found a way to do it and at low cost to me.)
