I think the article Ed posted was relevant and factual and something that should be considered by those who think things in iraq are just going along hunky dory. Sunniland aint no picnic area for americans but we would be deluding ourselves if we think the shiaa love us either. Only the Kurds and just like the israelis, kurds are a pariah people for the arabs.
US needs to institute timetable but i am afraid what comes to power in sunni part will be another PA. Shiaas can manage with the help of iran and us, if desired. Kurds are Israelis with oil. It's a mess Ish. The only thing left to be decided is how many names ultimatley go on the next wall in DC. Hopefully we get out of there was some type of narrow win, and not like vietnam with folks hanging on to helicopters al quaeda mosies on in to badgag (not sp error) Mike
