It just seemed to me that flag burning, given what a rare occurrence it is, is just not worth getting too exercised about. Since incidents almost never occur, they can't be what is provoking your strong reaction. If you pain is caused by dwelling on a relatively few past events and not immediate provocation, then the pain is mostly self-inflicted and it might be better to find a way to let it go.

Unless railing about it gives you satisfaction, in which case, have at it. <g>
