Are you looking for people who support the ideas in the header and would contribute ways to implement them or is this a bit more open than that, including different ideas to reach the same goals, or even rejection of some of the goals?
Also the header seems to discourage ideology, but I don't think you can leave ideology out of it and I don't think you have. Ideology, and political philosophy have a major influence on determining the perceived relative importance of different practical goals. It also helps determine what methods are acceptable in the pursuit of those ideas. Ideology goes beyond support Republican or Democratic dogma. You can escape a specific fixed dogma, but you can't realistically have politics or political discussion without accepting that differences in ideology and political philosophy are going to have a major impact. I think the ideas proposed in this thread are shaped by the ideology of the people who created and participate in the thread. I also think there is nothing wrong with that fact, and nothing surprising about it.
Why I don't think you can divorce this type of discussion from ideology, I do think you can at least try to keep partisan politics out of it. You can talk about ideas, without bashing Bush, or Kerry, or Gore, or Clinton, or Reagan. You can come up with proposals that you think will help the country without being concerned about how the ideas will help the Democrats or Republicans.
OTOH if this really is an attempt to form a party or something that resembles a party you would think it would become partisan for that party...
