<Cartoonist faces Greek jail for blasphemy
guardian.co.uk;

Amazing! Back to the dark ages. Meanwhile, it's not surprising that the Euro constitution got a NO! and people want to have their own little country, even if it's expensive in some ways and a bureaucratic nuisance to have lots of borders and currencies.

Perhaps Greece should be booted out of the EU. That's what you get when you let barbarians into civilization. They poop on the floor and rip up the curtains. [I suppose Greeks might point out that it wasn't all that long ago that Germany was on the rampage in Greece and could hardly be called civilized]

They could bring back the Inquisition, burnings at the stake and stuff like that.

Authoritarian bossy-britches are like the battery advertisements - they never give up. They keep going and going and going and going and going.

Freedom is much talked about, as is deflation, and like deflation is hard to find.
