"not realizing that what works for TX does not work for the rest of us."

Who says that it actually works in Texas? Just look at how the tax cuts that Bush pushed through as governor stimulated the state economy. If it had stimulated any more, we would have gone bankrupt...

You know......I have to tell you.......it looks to me like there are some bad people who got control of TX and are trying very hard to export their agenda to the rest of the country. And you have to wonder what it is exactly they are exporting.

I was looking at some crime statistics the other day, broken done by state. TX had some of the highest numbers in the country but then again its the 2nd or 3rd largest state with a number of large urban areas.

But what really amazed me is the number of executions. TX had twice the number of executions as CA with half of CA's population. It had 8 times the number of executions of WA state but is only 4 times bigger. I know that this is just one set of statistics but they are so out of proportion with the rest of the country, you have to wonder what the hell is going on in your state.

From where I'm sitting, how you've survived with your mindset has to be a testament to your diplomatic capabilities. I would have been tarred and feathered and run out of town long ago. <g>
